Terbinafine cream 10 mg/g, 20 g, Slavia Pharm
Terbiafine cream is indicated in fungal skin infections (caused by dermatophytes such as Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes or by Epidermophyton floccosum, Microsporum canis): tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea cruris, tinea corporis; Pityriasis versicolor caused by Malassezia furfur form Pityrosporum ovale and cutaneous candidiasis.
Active ingredients per 1 g:
- Terbinafine hydrochloride 10 mg.
- Excipient with known effect: cetylstearyl alcohol 70 mg.
Method of administration:
- Adults and adolescents - the cream should be applied to the affected skin area and surrounding areas, in a thin layer, then massaged in gently.
- The affected area should be cleaned and dried before applying the cream.
- In case of intertrigo (interdigital, interfessory, inguinal), the area where the cream was applied can be covered with a gauze bandage, especially at night.
- Tinea pedis: 1 administration per day for one week
- Tinea cruris and tinea corporis: 1 administration per day for one week
- Cutaneous candidiasis: 1-2 administrations per day for 1-2 weeks
- Pityriasis versicolor: 1-2 applications per day for 2 weeks.
