Uscosin, 6 suppositories, Sintofarm

Indications:
USCOSIN is used as symptomatic medication in case of:
− spastic gastrointestinal, biliary and urogenital diseases;
- Various colic (e.g. renal colic, biliary colic), uterine spasms, cystitis, dysmenorrhea.

Composition:
− The active substance is: N-butylscopolammonium bromide. One suppository contains 10.0 mg N-butylscopolammonium bromide.
− The other ingredients are: liquid paraffin; semi-synthetic glycerides and anhydrous colloidal silicon dioxide.

Method of administration:
The recommended dose is:
Adults: the recommended dose is 1 USCOSIN suppository administered rectally, 3 - 4 times a day.
If you use more USCOSIN than you should
If you have taken more USCOSIN doses than you should, stop taking it and contact your doctor immediately or go to the nearest hospital.

Contraindications:
Do not use USCOSIN:
− if you are allergic to N-butylscopolammonium bromide or any of the other ingredients of this medicine;
− in case of myasthenia gravis;
− in case of megacolon;
− if you have pyloric stenosis;
− if you have closed-angle glaucoma;
− if you have urethro-prostatic disorders with a risk of urinary retention;
− in children.

Precautions:
Talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse before using Uscosin.

Pregnancy, lactation and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
USCOSIN should be used with caution during pregnancy and only after your doctor has evaluated the maternal benefit-potential risk ratio for the fetus.
The use of USCOSIN during breastfeeding is contraindicated.

Driving and using machines:
The use of USCOSIN may result in visual accommodation disorders.
