Advil Ultra, 10 Softgels, Gsk

Always use this medicine as directed in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.

Indications:

• Advil Ultra Forte is used to relieve pain of low and moderate intensity, osteoarticular and muscle pain (including tendinitis, bursitis, dislocations, sprains), as well as joint pain of non-rheumatic etiology, back pain, headache, migraine ( treatment and prevention), rheumatic pains, neuralgia, toothaches, dysmenorrhea, fever reduction and to relieve cold and flu symptoms.
• This medicine is indicated for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.

Composition:
The active substance is ibuprofen. Each capsule contains ibuprofen 400 mg.

Administration method:

• Adults, the elderly, and adolescents over 12 years of age: 1 Advil Ultra Forte softgel (400 mg) up to three times daily as needed. The next dose should not be taken less than 4-6 hours later.
• Do not take more than 3 Advil Ultra Forte soft capsules (1200 mg) in 24 hours.

Use in children:

• This medicine is not indicated for children under 12 years of age.
• If you have kidney or liver failure, you should consult your doctor before using Advil Ultra Forte.
• Advil Ultra Forte can be used by patients with diabetes.

Contraindications:
Do not use Advil Ultra Forte:

• if you are allergic to ibuprofen or any of the other components of this medicine.
• if you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
• if you have suffered from bronchospasm, asthma, rhinitis or urticaria during treatment with NSAIDs.
• if you have suffered from digestive bleeding or digestive perforations during NSAID treatment.
• if you suffer or have suffered from stomach or duodenal ulcers, digestive haemorrhages, bleeding disorders and blood diseases.
• if you suffer or have suffered from inflammatory disorders in the digestive tract, disseminated lupus erythematosus, cerebrovascular haemorrhages.
• if you have heart surgery (immediately before or after surgery).
• if you have a severe heart condition (severe heart failure).
• if you suffer from liver or kidney failure.
• if you are in the last 4 months of pregnancy.
• in children under 12 years of age.

Precautions:
Before using Advil Ultra Forte, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Task:
The drug is not recommended during pregnancy, especially in the first 3 months.
It is contraindicated during the last 4 months of pregnancy.
Breastfeeding:
Ask your doctor before using Advil Ultra Forte while breastfeeding. If you are breastfeeding you should not use Advil Ultra Forte.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
Due to the adverse reactions it can produce at the level of the central nervous system (for example, visual disturbances, dizziness, headache), ibuprofen can influence the ability to drive vehicles or use machines.
