Bixtonim Xylo Junior nasal spray for children, 10 ml, Biofarm

Indications:

• Bixtonim XYLO is a nasal decongestant that quickly relieves a stuffy nose so you can breathe more easily.
• Bixtonim XYLO is used in children aged between 2-10 years to decongest the nasal mucosa, in vasomotor rhinitis and allergic rhinitis. It can be used in the treatment of ear infections to help decongest the nasopharyngeal mucosa. It may also be prescribed by your doctor to perform a nasal examination.

Composition:

• The active substance is xylometazoline hydrochloride. One milliliter of nasal spray solution contains xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.5 mg.

Administration method:
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Children aged between 2-10 years
-1 puff in each nostril, as needed, but no more than 3 times a day.
Doses higher than recommended should not be used.
Children under 2 years of age
Bixtonim XYLO is contraindicated in children under 2 years of age.
Duration of administration
Bixtonim XYLO should not be used for more than 5 days, unless your doctor advises you otherwise.
Mode of administration
For administration, remove the protective cover. Before the first administration, it is sprayed into the air by pressing the dosing pump 2-3 times, to ensure the correct release of the doses.

Contraindications:
Do not use Bixtonim XYLO:
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to xylometazoline or to any of the other components of this medicine.
- in children under 2 years of age.

• Before using Bixtonim XYLO, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:

• If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
• Do not use Bixtonim XYLO during pregnancy and breastfeeding or if you are of childbearing age and do not use contraceptive measures.

Driving vehicles and using machines:

• Bixtonim XYLO should not affect your ability to drive or use machines.
