Controlgast Duo, 30 tablets, Bioeel

Indications:
The active substances of this medicine neutralize gastric acid secretion. The medicine relieves the symptoms caused by gastroesophageal reflux: heartburn (heartburn), regurgitation of stomach acid and indigestion.

Composition:
- The active substances are calcium carbonate and heavy magnesium carbonate. Each chewable tablet contains 680 mg calcium carbonate and 80 mg heavy magnesium carbonate.
- The other ingredients are: menthol, sodium cyclamate, povidone K30, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, sorbitol (E 420), maltodextrin, polysorbate 80, pregelatinized starch.

Method of administration:
Dosage:
Adults and children over 12 years of age: 1 or 2 Controlgast-Duo tablets are crushed or allowed to dissolve in the oral cavity, preferably one hour after meals or one hour before bedtime.
If heartburn or pain persists, 1-2 more chewable tablets can be administered.
The daily dose of 16 Controlgast-Duo chewable tablets should not be exceeded.
It is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age.
Do not exceed the dosage stated in the package leaflet or prescribed by your doctor. Do not take the medicine for a long time without your doctor's advice.
The maximum duration of treatment should not exceed 10 days.

Contraindications:
Do not use Controlgast-Duo:
- if you are allergic to calcium carbonate/magnesium carbonate or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6);
- if you suffer from serious kidney problems;
- if you have high levels of calcium in your blood (hypercalcemia);
- if you have kidney stones containing calcium;
- if you have hypophosphatemia.

Precautions:
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines.

Pregnancy, lactation and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
In recommended doses, administration is permitted during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy and during breastfeeding.

Driving and using machines:
Controlgast-Duo has no influence on the ability to drive and use machines.
