Cronicare

Cronicare for dogs and cats is available in several forms, tailored to the different needs of the animals and the preferences of their owners.

The first form is oral tablets, packaged in bottles containing 10, 60 or 120 tablets. Another form is the oily solution for oral administration, available in 30 or 100 ml bottles. Cronicare oil contains fish oil (750 mg/g), cannabis extract standardised in cannabidiol (CBD 4%) and Omega-3 fatty acids, including EPA and DHA. 

Cronicare for cats and dogs is recommended as a nutritional supplement for dogs and cats in various situations where an additional intake of essential nutrients or metabolic support is required.

Key indications include supporting nervous system health and cognitive function, particularly in older animals or those showing signs of cognitive dysfunction. Thanks to its content of Omega-3 fatty acids and bioactive compounds from hemp, the product may help reduce inflammation and support neuronal protection.

For the Chronic tablets, administer with food, preferably dividing the daily dose into two doses, morning and evening.

The recommended doses are:

• dogs and cats under 5 kg: ¼ tablet per day
• dogs between 5 and 10 kg: ½ tablet per day
• dogs between 11 and 20 kg: 1 tablet per day
• dogs over 30 kg: 2 tablets per day

For Cronicare Oil, the recommended starting dose is approximately 1 drop per kilogram of body weight per day. Depending on the animal’s response and the vet’s advice, the dose of Cronicare Synergy can be gradually increased to 2 drops/kg/day over a period of 2–4 weeks. 

Stangest Synergy must not be used in animals with known hypersensitivity to any of the product’s ingredients. 

Furthermore, administration should be carried out with caution in animals with severe hepatic or metabolic disorders, if the veterinarian deems this necessary.

The body’s response to the administration of Cronicare may vary depending on the animal’s general state of health, the stage of any existing conditions, and environmental factors. 

It is recommended that the supplement be administered consistently to achieve optimal results, as the nutrients included in the formulation act progressively on metabolism and inflammatory processes.

In general, Cronicare Stangest is well tolerated by dogs and cats. In rare cases, mild digestive disturbances such as diarrhoea or loose stools may occur, particularly at the start of treatment.

If persistent side effects or signs of intolerance occur, administration of the product should be discontinued and consultation with a vet is recommended.

No major interactions have been reported between Cronicare and other medicines or supplements commonly used in veterinary medicine. However, due to its content of fatty acids and bioactive compounds, it is recommended that concurrent administration with other similar products be assessed by a vet.

Administration with food may improve digestive tolerability and the absorption of certain components.

Accidental overdose is unlikely to cause severe effects, but may lead to temporary digestive disturbances, such as diarrhoea or gastrointestinal discomfort.

If a significantly higher dose than recommended is administered, it is advisable to monitor the animal and consult a veterinarian.

The product should be stored in a dry place, away from direct light and exposure to sunlight. The storage temperature should be moderate, and the bottle or container should be closed properly after use.

It is important to keep the product out of the reach of children and animals.
