LenoDiar

Aboca LenoDiar is available in two distinct forms, suited to the needs of different age groups. LenoDiar Adult is available in capsules, in packs of 20 capsules of 500 mg each, intended for adolescents over 12 years of age and adults. 

LenoDiar Paediatric is available in sachets containing water-soluble granules, in packs of 12 sachets of 2 g each, and is specially formulated for children aged 1 year and over. The paediatric formulation is gluten-free and has a pleasant taste, encouraging adherence to treatment.

Aboca LenoDiar Adult is indicated for the treatment of acute diarrhoea of various aetiologies, including viral gastrointestinal infections, flu-like syndromes associated with diarrhoea, drug-induced (iatrogenic) diarrhoea, stress-related diarrhoea, traveller’s diarrhoea, or episodes of diarrhoea associated with poor dietary habits and hormonal changes, such as those occurring during the menstrual cycle. 

Aboca LenoDiar Paediatric is indicated for the treatment of acute diarrhoea in children, regardless of the cause, including viral infections, functional diarrhoea, iatrogenic diarrhoea and traveller’s diarrhoea. Its administration must be accompanied by an adequate intake of fluids to prevent dehydration.

For LenoDiar Adult, the usual dose is 2 capsules 2–3 times a day, preferably taken between meals, until symptoms subside. The duration of treatment depends on clinical progress, but it is recommended to consult a doctor if symptoms persist.

For LenoDiar Paediatric, it is recommended to administer 1 sachet at intervals of approximately 3 hours, not exceeding 4 sachets per day, with the dosage to be adjusted according to the severity of clinical symptoms. The contents of each sachet should be dissolved in approximately 10 ml of water (equivalent to one tablespoon) and administered immediately after preparation. 

LenoDiar is contraindicated in people with known hypersensitivity to any of the product’s components. In the event of severe diarrhoea, accompanied by a high fever, blood in the stools or signs of severe dehydration, urgent medical assessment is required, as the product is not a substitute for specific aetiological treatment.

A key feature of LenoDiar is its mechanism of action, which is based on patented plant complexes: Actitan-P for adults and Actitan-F for children. 

These complexes work by forming a protective film on the intestinal mucosa, which limits contact with irritants and pathogenic microorganisms, and through an antioxidant effect that reduces local inflammation. 

Thanks to its exclusively plant-based composition and non-pharmacological mechanism, LenoDiar has a favourable safety profile. 

Adverse reactions are rare and, when they do occur, are mild in nature, manifesting as transient digestive disturbances or hypersensitivity reactions in susceptible individuals.

LenoDiar can be administered alongside other pharmacological treatments, including antibiotics or antivirals, without significantly interfering with their absorption. 

However, it is recommended that it be administered at a separate time from other oral medicines to avoid possible mechanical interference in the gut. No relevant interactions with food are known.

No cases of overdose with Aboca LenoDiar have been reported. 

However, exceeding the recommended doses is not advised and, in the event of accidental ingestion of large quantities, clinical monitoring and medical consultation are recommended.

Aboca LenoDiar should be stored at room temperature, protected from moisture and direct sources of heat, in the original packaging. Keep out of the reach of children.
